Established in 1919, John Brown University is a private, interdenominational, Christian university providing higher education to over 2,200 students from 36 states and 38 countries in its traditional undergraduate, graduate, online and concurrent education programs. John Brown University provides Christ-centered education that prepares people to honor God and serve others by developing their intellectual, spiritual, and professional lives. Accreditation includes the Higher Learning Commission, the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation, the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the American Council for Construction Education, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
