Youth With A Mission San Francisco

Ministry Description
Our mission statement is Engaging the City with a Loving God. The San Francisco Bay area is home to 7.4 million people and is classified as a hyperdiverse metroplex due to the ethnic groups that are here. We presently have 9 separate locations with each one subscribing to the above mission statement in their own unique relevant contextual manner whether it is through evangelism, church planting, training, mercy ministries, or a combination of them. We have a special focus on evangelism among those who are less than 3% Evangelical, considered unreached, and live in the Bay area, such as the Yemeni or Afghans.

GiverConnect™
In 2014, God called us to walk forward in faith and purchase our 27,000 square foot buildings in the heart of San Francisco for $4 million in the face of a speculating developer. It seemed impossible, but God was faithful. Since then, we have paid off $3.1M of the mortgage. As of January 2024 we are owing just over $900k. Join us in a special gift or a monthly recurring gift to eliminate our mortgage.
YWAM San Francisco opens up the 'Ellis Room' as a place for the neighborhood, specifically the unhoused, to find respite from the streets. Our community center is a spacious place where we provide showers, bathrooms, haircuts, clothing, and other activities (art, prayer, etc.). It is in this space where relationships are fostered that lead to helping people on their journey towards wholistic health, including discipleship with Jesus.
