Ministry Description
Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) was established in 1984 by nine interdenominational churches and still today provides services with the support of local Covenant Churches. KCM’s mission is “Transforming lives through God's grace and the generosity of the community.” KCM addresses basic needs assistance such as food and financial support for rent/mortgage and utilities through the Social Services and Food Pantry Programs. In addition, their Crisis Center assists victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, as well as helping individuals and families who are experiencing crisis and trauma as a result of the abuse.

We have Social Service Departments that offer emergency financial assistance, a Food Pantry, a Crisis Center that houses the Domestic Abuse Center and the Sexual Assault Center, Resale Store, and Donation Center. We rely on area churches, local businesses, corporations, and individuals for support.
