Ministry Description
Union Gospel Mission of Salem is a Christ-centered ministry, demonstrating God's love by meeting physical, mental and spiritual needs of men, women and children in crisis. They proclaim the Gospel of Jesus in word and deed. Their mission is to help men and women break the cycle of homelessness and become participating members of their community, as they learn to follow Christ. They do this by providing: meals and shelter to homeless and hurting men, women and children, recovery programs to overcome addictions and dysfunctional lifestyles, education and job readiness programs to equip men and women for employment and outreach programs to offer support, counseling, spiritual guidance and referral services.
