Church of God International Offices

Ministry Description
Church of God is one of America's oldest Pentecostal churches founded in 1886 as an outgrowth of the holiness revival under the name Christian Union. In 1907, the church adopted the organizational name "Church of God." It has its foundation upon the principles of Christ as revealed in the Bible. The Church of God is Christian, Protestant, foundational in its doctrine, evangelical in practice, and distinctively Pentecostal. It maintains a centralized form of government and a commitment to world evangelization. The mission of the Church of God is to communicate the full gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28: 19,20) in the Spirit and power of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4, 6, 13-18). Our core values are: Prayer, Pentecostal Worship, World Evangelization, Church Planting, Leadership Development, Care, and Interdependence.
