Washington City Mission

Ministry Description
The Washington City Mission exists to share Christ, to heal, to shelter and to restore the homeless to independent living - without discrimination. We are a Christ-centered life recovery program with focus on spiritual development, addiction recovery, sustainable income, career objectives and goals for employment, health and wellness, and to obtain housing.

Programming includes: Men's Shelter, Avis Arbor Single Women Shelter, Avis Arbor Women & Children Shelter, a Veteran's Shelter which includes the Arbuckle Medical Clinic staffed with an RN and Medical Assistant. We also operate a Thrift Store business with 8 stores currently that is stocked from donations from the community and a 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse that provides vocational training for our residents.
