Intercessors for America

Ministry Description
Intercessors for America (IFA) is a Christian ministry that serves believers by encouraging effective prayer and fasting for the Church, our nation, and our leaders through news, prayer, and action. Our vision is to see God's purposes fulfilled through sustained prayer and Spirit-led obedience. Our mission is to inform, connect, and mobilize a network of those who pray and fast for America. Our desire is for the Church revived and our nation reformed through corporate prayer and Christian involvement in all spheres of life. Primary prayer resources include Headline Prayer (news Christians need to pray about every day), weekly e-alerts that monitor critical national and foreign issues, a monthly First Friday prayer conference call, and a quarterly newsletter, "God Working Through You." IFA holds state Policy & Prayer conferences that connect policymakers with intercessors for statewide transformation and Gatekeepers events that provide understanding on the biblical role and calling, and practical ways to engage in government. IFA also offers the ability to send prayers to elected officials and provides free downloads of prayer guides and special reports at www.ifapray.org.
