Ministry Description
The Valley Food Bank was established in 2001 to address the critical issue of hunger in the San Fernando Valley by collecting donations of surplus food from corporations and individuals and distributing them through a network of Rescue Center Food Pantries and soup kitchens strategically located throughout the Valley. The Valley Food Bank distributes over 1.5 million pounds of food each year to the poor and needy.
