Ministry Description
The Ventura County Rescue Mission began in 1972 as the Oxnard Rescue Mission and has since grown to offer emergency and long-term rehabilitation services to homeless men, women and children throughout Ventura County. The Ventura County Rescue Mission is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is the only year-round emergency shelter in Ventura County for men and offers a comprehensive, faith-based Residential Recovery Program to treat the problems which led to homelessness.
