Evangelism Resources

Ministry Description
Evangelism Resources (ER) is an interdenominational mission founded in 1976 to empower grassroots leadership in the majority world with evangelism and discipleship programs. ER supports local churches and ministries mainly through Schools of Evangelism (SOEs), Portable Bible Schools (PBSes), Mobile Schools of Evangelism (MSOEs), Great Commission Challenge Camps (GC3s), Women's Impact Network (WIN), and Inductive Bible Study (IBS) seminars, all of which are facilitated in participants' local languages. In SOEs, men and women attend a nine-month residential program of concentrated studies in evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and supervised field experience. In PBSes, men and women are trained through 200 lessons that focus on Bible knowledge, ministry skills, and Christian character. They can be held anytime and anywhere. With small class sizes and sessions held on evenings and weekends, MSOEs allow students to continue working and caring for their families as they study close to home. This allows for increased accessibility, especially in remote areas. Young adults are challenged with the Great Commission in an intensive three-day retreat in GC3s. These camps have helped transform the lives of thousands of young adults. WIN is an intercultural community of women who are committed to living as Christ's disciples, leading others to Him, and mentoring His followers for discipleship. In IBS seminars, participants learn how to investigate Scripture by emphasizing original context. Website: www.erinfo.org
